SIMPLY SOUTHERN TRADITIONAL HOMES, INC. was founded in 1998 by its president, Bill Gilmer. From the beginning, his goal has been to design simply elegant homes with a traditional appearance, but suited to the needs of modern families.

Bill, has a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Georgia. He began working in the construction industry in 1994 as an Associate Builder with a large, regional builder in Atlanta. He works mainly in Fayette and Coweta counties, and supervises the construction of all homes with the help of Glen Coryell, an experienced Fayette County superintendent. Additionally, Bill designs many of our historically-inspired custom homes and operates the business.
